100% Off Grid & Some Finish Work
I expanded my solar system by one panel and one battery. I decided to move and make my electrical cabinet easier to access. It's much better. My future self is already thanking me.
This means, I'm 100% off grid.
In the off grid, homestead world, making power means pumping water. And water is the key to it all.
I put my new system to work by pumping water up to my main tank for daily use.
The next day, I moved and installed a washing machine. This would be the test; Could my system handle pumping water and running a washer at the same time?
No problem! And I've never enjoyed doing laundry more in my life.
It didn't take but ten minutes for my batteries to recover from the heavy load.
I found this driftwood last year on the beach. It had been kicking around the green house since then, until I decided that make it my paper towel holder and towel hook.
Rhubarb turned four. You can see she's pretty excited.
I built a simple clothing shelf for my girlfriend. I plan on burning and dodging it with a torch, but for now I put it into use.
Don't mind the mess. it's all better organized now.
I added another rocking chair to the fleet!
What's next?
Landscaping and landing another container to turn into the shop.
Also: kitchen drawers, base boards, another spice rack, and rock wall in the outdoor shower area.
